In Don’t Make Me Think! (2005), Steve Krug explores the importance of usability in web design. The first chapter introduces his First Law of Usability: "Don’t make me think!" This means that websites should be designed so that users can understand them instantly, without unnecessary effort. Krug argues that when a site is too complicated or unclear, it frustrates users and can even make them blame themselves for not understanding it. Small details play a significant role in making a website intuitive and easy to navigate. I initially chose this book somewhat by chance.
